Karachi red and white: Republic Day enthusiasm in iconic buildings
Symbolic structures in Karachi, Pakistan's largest city, were illuminated with the colors of the Turkish flag to mark the 101st anniversary of the foundation of the Republic of Türkiye. In a statement made by the Karachi Municipality, it was stated that "Mayor Murtaza Wahab Siddiqui extends his heartfelt congratulations to the brotherly people of Turkey on the occasion of the 101st anniversary of the Republic of Turkey celebrated on October 29. On this occasion, KMC illuminated Frere Hall in the colors of the Turkish flag and also specially illuminated the famous Teen Talwar Junction in Clifton in the colors of the Turkish flag in order to show the sense of unity and brotherhood to our Turkish friends .
