Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih and his accompanying delegation from the government and private sectors, during the official visit to Pakistan, in the presence of Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir and Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki.

His Excellency Shehbaz Sharif praised the depth of the fraternal and historical relations between the two brotherly countries, extending his thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their unwavering and continuous support to Pakistan and for strengthening and deepening further the existing cooperative relations between the two countries.

He also expressed his satisfaction with the fruitful discussions held between the two sides at the Saudi-Pakistani Business Forum, calling on the Saudi side to invest in the aviation sector in Pakistan.

He said that the dialogue between the Saudi-Pakistani business community paved the way for new investments, noting that the visit is an important event to expand and diversify investment and economic relations between the two countries.

In turn, Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid Al-Falih reiterated the Kingdom's determination and commitment to enhance investment in Pakistan in a number of vital areas, especially agriculture, minerals, mining, food security and infrastructure.
