Governor of Khorasan Razavi: Relations with Pakistan will Expand

he governor of Khorasan Razavi said: We are interested in expanding relations with Pakistan, following the strategy of developing political relations with neighboring countries.

According to  IRNA , Gholamhossein Mozaffari added on Wednesday in a meeting with the Governor of Punjab Province of Pakistan: "There are many cultural and religious commonalities between the two countries, and this has led to brotherly and friendly relations between Iran and Pakistan."

Pointing out that we can also have good exchanges and trade in economic areas, he noted: "We welcome the increase in flights, as it is a good platform for increasing economic, cultural, and social communications."

The Governor of Khorasan Razavi continued: "A sisterhood agreement has been signed between Mashhad and Lahore in the past, and we hope that in the future we will be able to expand relations between the two provinces in the field of scientific exchanges."

He said: "Thanks to the existence of the Munawar Razavi Shrine, we are also hosting our Pakistani brothers and sisters."

Mozaffari also proposed holding dedicated exhibitions in target cities of both sides, which was welcomed by the Governor of Punjab.

The Governor of Pakistan's Punjab Province also stated in the meeting: "Pakistan is considered one of the leading countries in the world in the fields of textile industry and surgical equipment production, and I hope you will pay special attention to these two industries during your trip to Pakistan."

Sardar Salim Haider Khan said: "Interactions between the two countries in the academic field should increase, and this increase in academic relations will increase interactions and relations between the two sides in other sectors.
