Jashn-e-Azaadi 2025: Dubai to host biggest-ever Pakistan Independence Day show
DUBAI will mark Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day with a grand celebration on Sunday, 10 August 2025, hosted by Pakistan Association Dubai in collaboration with Emirates Loves Pakistan. The flagship event titled Jashn-e-Azaadi Pakistan 2025 will be held at the Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City, across South Halls 1, 2, and 3, from 11:00am to 11:00pm. With over 40,000 attendees expected, the event brings together Pakistani expats and the wider community for a full day of cultural programmes, live music, traditional food, and family-friendly activities. Free to attend, the celebration is open to all, showcasing Pakistan’s cultural pride and community spirit in the heart of Dubai. The 12-hour programme features celebrity performances, community parades, and the Pakistan Awards Ceremony, which will recognise distinguished Pakistani individuals and leaders for their contributions. Awards will be presented by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence. The musical line-up includes renowned Sahir Ali Bagga, Sufi-rock star Natasha Baig, and poet-artist Yousuf Bashir Qureshi. Also expected are appearances by actor Humayun Saeed and cricketer Sana Mir, a member of the ICC Hall of Fame. The event will highlight Pakistan’s diversity through regional folk music, cultural exhibitions, children’s games, and art displays. A dedicated food court will serve authentic Pakistani dishes, while a business marketplace will showcase products from SMEs and artisans. How to get there?
