External Publicity Wing (EP Wing) of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting deals with the registrartion and accreditation of foreigners and Pakistani nationals working for international media in Pakistan. In this regard a registration portal http://registration.epwing.gov.pk has been launched. There will be two steps i) Registration and ii) Accreditation. All media persons will get themselves Registered first which will take minimum possible time. After successful registration intending media persons may apply for Accreditation (on the same portal with the same ID). Simultaneously Media House/Outlets/organizations will also be registered on this portal showing their presence in Pakistan. Heads of respective media houses/outlets/organizations may do the same.

Press Accreditation Cards from EP Wing are issued to:

• registered foreign nationals on the basis of valid journalist visas,    AND
• registered Pakistani nationals after necessary process and recommendation of the EP Wing and Ministry of Interior.
