External Publicity Wing (EP Wing) of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting deals with the registrartion and accreditation of foreigners and Pakistani nationals working for foreign media. In this regard a registration portal registration.epwing.gov.pk is being launched soon. There will be two steps i) Registration and ii) Accreditation. All media persons will get themselves Registered first which will take minimum possible time. After successful registration intending media persons may apply for Accreditation (on the same portal with the same ID) which will take approximately 4-6 weeks for processing. Simultaneously Mredia House / Outlets will also be registeed on this portal. Heads of respective media houses/outlets may do the same.

Press Accreditation Cards are issued to:

• the foreign nationals on the basis of valid journalist visas,    AND
• the Pakistani nationals after necessary process and recommendation of the EP Wing and Ministry of Interior.
